Catalyst Arabians a small, family-owned Arabian horse farm in the Beautiful Corralitos Valley, located on the Central Coast of California.
What We Do
For the past 30 years we have been dedicated breeders of Pure Spanish and Spanish Related Arabian horses. We also breed Half-Arabian/AQHA Horses, with an emphasis on breeding horses that are athletic, beautiful, usable, that have great minds and hearts to boot!
Our journey with the Arabian Horse began in 1991, after acquiring the Lovely and Charismatic *Numaa daughter, Maarena B and her weanling filly by *Vallehermoso, DA Vallenteena. From there we integrated our herd with mares with bloodllines to *Padre, Jaguay, *GG Samir, WN Ultimate Star, *Fairview Klassique, to name just a few. We crossed our Spanish and Spanish Related mares to some great stallions, such as Alada Baskin I, Its Sshowtime, Pstrategy, Odyssey SC, Rohara Moon Storm+///, and AQHA stallions Jasons Peptolena and Blue Isle Blackburn. We like to describe our horses as Beautiful, Substantial, Intelligent, People Oriented horses, that can win in the show pen, and be great trail buddies, too!
Acquisitions
In 1994 we purchased the Pure Spanish weanling colt, Quest mf, bred by Lucy Whittier of Las Colinas. We began showing Quest as a Yearling, and his show ring debut was a success. In a Huge Class, Quest was named Scottsdale Top Ten Yearling Colt, at 9 months old. He was also a Top 10 Yearling Colt at several Regional Shows. He began his performance career as a 3-Year-old, and was a 1998 Region I Top 5 Arabian Western Pleasure JR Horse. Sold in 1998, Quest went on to become a multi National Winning Western Pleasure Horse, in AOTR and Open Competition.

Sold in 2002.

2004 PB Gelding Its Ssummertime: Top Ten Hunter Pleasure Horse at the 2007 Scottsdale Signature Stallion Performance Futurity, as a 3-Year Old and placed well in many other classes.
